| Bio: | Books, knitting, piano, singing, dancing, movies, fitness, math, art, and tea are all important to me. I am particularly interested in geometry, algebra, topology, probability, and statistics. I love to travel. My more recent excursions include living in Allendale, Michigan for two months this summer while doing math research, attending a conference in Knoxville, Tennessee in August, then another conference in New Orleans just this January. Future plans include a conference in Lincoln, Nebraska in February, and a trip to Bozeman, Montana in March. I currently live and work in Maine. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Maine at Farmington. This fall, I will begin graduate school in pursuit of a Ph.D. in mathematics. Where I will be going is anybody's guess; I applied to schools all over the US. Limbo is a magical state of existence.
